Lots of updates

In the tradition of my dear friend Allegra I will list 7 random things about myself that you all might not know. Enjoy these tidbits.
1) I hate feet. Think they are ugly, gross, and just plain nasty. My sister and I share this trait. Perhaps our father's nasty tootsies had something to do with this. LOL
2) I don't eat vegtables. Not one - unless french fries count.
3) I was born in a snow/ice storm and love winter storms to this day.
4) As a child I ran away from home because, "These people can't possibly be my real family." I thought surely I was a princess and my real parents had to give me away to keep me from some awful fate. My poor mom was devistated that I felt this way. Thankfully I only made it to the end of the street and sat there for hours waiting for my real parents to come get me.
5) I wear my grandmother's engagement ring on my right hand.
6) I can cry at the drop of a hat. Always could. Just ask my brother. I got him in trouble lots of times by doing that. hee hee
7) I hate that I can't tan. Ever.

OK so on to other things. My life is one big doctor appointment these days. Bloodwork, scans, poking and prodding. It is so fun. Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end and produce a child!! But for now we are still working on it. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. We are sure doing our part to make this work!!

Along the baby line... I found out that 2 people I know are pregnant this week. I am happy for them but at the same time very frustrated I can't join the ranks. The worst thing is that they weren't even trying. One of them has already had a baby since we started trying and is now working on her 2nd. Life isn't fair - I know that. But it still is a pain! But I"m hanging in there.

Work is very busy and that is good. It keeps me from focusing too much on myself. Though you wouldn't know it form the blog I suppose. :) I've started doing acupuncture to relieve stress and help with my womanly issues. The stress part is working so maybe the other will too. I recomend it to anyone who needs a little relief. It doesn't hurt like you think it would having all those needles stuck in you.

My niece has a broken arm. She fell on it playing soccer. Poor thing is so bummed to be missing out on field hockey. She asked me, "If I were falling again should I put out my good arm or bad arm to stop myself?" I told her to fall on her face instead. LMAO Sweet aunt Kathie.

My husband is working this week!! Can you believe it?! Of course it will only be a shift here and there at the hospital as a nursing assistant but it will get him in the door when it comes time to look for a real full time position. So he will only work 1 or 2 shifts a month but it will be a little extra cash.

I think that is enough for now. I'll get back to work before I get in trouble. :)

I'm sorry I didn't tag you. I wasn't sure if you were still blogging ... it's been so long. It sounds like you've been hit a few times with some tough news, but you sound like you're coping OK. Hang in there, and try to have fun while you're trying ;)

Miss you. Wanna have lunch Thursday or Friday, November 5 or 6?
